Brief Answer:
Nerve compression

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your query.
Numbness in hands and feet with is suggestive of nerve compression in your spine at cervical and lumbar level. This is a initial symptom and there it is not serious. But confirmation of compression and level of compression can be done by MRI spine.

Since the nerve between the vertebra (back bone) get compressed on standing, you feel the numbness. On lying they get relaxed and it disappears.

Considering your age i suggest you to see a orthopedic surgeon for clinical examination and investigations like MRI spine, Vitamin D3 and B12 level. With the help of physiotherapy and neurotropic medicines problem can be resolved.

On a note to Amlodipine tablets, long term use will cause pedal edema (swelling in foot) and if it happens, consult your cardiologist for adding a diuretic to prescription.
