Baby Developed Heat Rashes Spreading To Whole Head. Medication? How To Reduce Swelling Due To Odema?

My baby was born on the 6th of February, 2013. Four days after she was born she developed a very bad heat rash on her forehead .This rash has now spread around the whole head. What can I use to help clear this rash? Also, during my pregnancy I was diagnosed with odema but then it s been over a week since my C- section and I still have very swollen feet . What Can I do to reduce the swelling?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The mild rash all over the forehead in newborns is mostly due to erythema multiforme. This is a harmless self limiting rash and subsides on its own without any treatment in 5-10 days./ Please do not worry.
