Hello,
Thanks for using health care magic for posting your query.
I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
However I would require a couple of more details to help you in answering your query in a better justified way.
1) Are these symptoms episodicnor continuous and how long are you having these symptoms. If episodic how long do each episode last?
2. Are you taking any meds for panic attacks.
3. Are you having fever?
4. How many times have you bleed from nose before? Was there any trauma.
Hope to hear from you at your earliest convenience.
Regards and wish you good health,
Dr. Srikanth Reddy MD

The episodes occur when I first wake up and lasts a few hours. I am taking Metroprol Tart 1/2 of 50mgs once a day for high blood pressure restarting the medication. Yes I am having fevers and sweating. The nose bleed happened once while vomiting. There was a time when I was in the hospital and an air tube was put in my nose due to being drugged while in a club. I have not gone to a club since.
Thank you,

Panic attacks
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the add on information which was very helpful in dealing with your symptoms.
The condition that you are having is basically panic attacks. This is a disorder of anxiety and occurs cause of imbalance of certain neurotransmitters in the brain. especially serotonin, nor adrenaline, and dopamine to some extent. Medicines are the best options to take care of these symptoms. Paroxetine is the the most popular medicine and my drug of choice. I generally prescribe my patients 12.5 mg per day at night which takes care of anxiety symptoms.
Also there is an option of cognitive behavioural therapy. This therapy is taken by either a psychologist or a psychiatrist in which the therapist identifies impaired cognitions (Thoughts) and try to correct them. They are 15-20 min weekly session and there should be around 8-10 sessions to help you with your illness.
