What Causes Numbness In Nose And Left Cheek?
Question: I have numbness in my nose and my left cheek, what could be causing this? I had a sinus infection and went to the ER on Aug.6 for some antibiotics. YYYY@YYYY
Brief Answer:
It's temporary due to sinus infection...
Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,
I understand your concerns.
Having a sinus infection is also associated with lots of nasal congestion. The presence of numbness in your nose is due to congestion; while the numbness on your left cheek is showing that the infected sinus is located on the left cheek.
This is temporary and will be over once the infection is subsided.
Continue medications as given in the ER. Aerosol-therapy can also help with congestion.
Wish fast recovery!
