Thank you for your quick respnse. Do you think there is concern for a heart attack?
Brief Answer:
Possible but less likely.
Detailed Answer:
Heart attack is less likely than a stroke with the symptoms of numbness of the face and foot.
I would be interested in knowing the findings of the ER doctor and the diagnosis.

Ekg, Head CT & bloodwork were all normal. His blood pressure was elevated, they believe he experienced a migraine as he was having quite a bit of head pain. After administering Toradol, Reglan & Benadryl his pain diminished from a 10 to 3 and his blood pressure lowered somewhat and his color returned as well as the numbness stopped. I'm still concerned with his blood pressure at rest it was 146/93. He was under a great deal of stress with work yesterday so naturally I thought he might be having a cardiac episode or TIA.
Brief Answer:
Glad to know
Detailed Answer:
Glad to know that he didn't have any serious problem. The release of stress hormones like Noradrenaline raised the blood pressure and also produced constriction of blood vessels decreasing the blood flow and caused the symptoms.
I presume that this the first time he was found to have a high blood pressure. If you have the facility, it would be good to have an ambulatory blood pressure monitoring done to record the blood pressure fluctuations over the day and night especially when he is at work, driving etc so that we can decide whether he requires to be on continuous medication and if so the type of medicine required.
He should also relax, eat low salt, low fat healthy food, exercise and practise relaxation techniques like yoga.
Take care
