Brief Answer:
I think your symptoms are caused by reflux...
Detailed Answer:
Hi, thank you for posting.
I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.
I think that you suffer from Hiatal Hernia. Reflux is due to Hiatal Hernia.
Reflux can cause pain that radiates in chest and shoulders and burning sensation in breastbone.
To confirm the diagnosis you need:
1. Fibrogastroendoscopy.
2. Liver function test.
3. Complete blood count.
4. Urine test.
5. Mammography to rule out a breast pathology. (You're old enough for a mammogram).
The results of the above tests will determine the treatment.
Ask me for anything unclear.
All the best.
Dr. Behar.
