What Causes Pain And Bulging Veins In The Right Calf?
Question: I am 48 year old female in excellent health. I am not over weight and I work out moderately at the gym 3 times a week. I am experiencing a two inch or so bulging vein along my outer right calf about three inches below the knee area. It is painful for the touch, and throbs with a pulsing sensation when I stand or walk. There is slight swelling immediately around the vein area
that can be both seen and felt. It has been bothering me for several hours. I have had no injury to the leg, didn't bump it or anything like that. Should I be concerned?
