What Causes Pain And Discomfort In The Penis?

Question: I recovered from piles last week . Since then I have slight occassional discomfort in my penis . Can you suggest some ointment for relief ? Also any medication for any urinary infection .
Brief Answer:
Please provide details of your symptoms
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
Can you send details of the symptoms so that I am better able to help?
Is there any rash, fever, discharge, etc? How it started? Any other relevant or missed details?
If its a skin rash, then a photo will be very helpful in arriving diagnosis.
If its burning in urination then I will suggest a test named complete urine examination (including culture and sensitivity) to further help in diagnosis.
Waiting for your reply.

Brief Answer:
Its probably referred pain
Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
The penile pain seems to be referred pain from piles. It will get better when the piles pain is better. Creams may not be of help if pain is deep. If its mild pain then its better ignored or just a tablet brufen 200 mg 2 times a day for few days.
We can take precautions to relieve the piles faster.
Secondly, cotrimoxazole can be taken for 3 days for urinary infection. Its better to take antibiotic after doing culture and sensitivity of urine. This test will suggest which medicine will work against germs.
Hope it helps.
