This is not GERD or ulcer
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question. The symptoms suggestive of LPRD that is laryngopharyngeal reflux disease, that is reflux of gastric acid into throat and larynx. This is similar to GERD. Nothing to worry this can be treated and now a days it has become a common problem. I see many patients in my practice every day. Please don't get nervous by reading what ever given on internet. Even GERD or ulcer can be treated easily and effectively. Nothing to worry about it.
I recommend the following.
1) Never take coffee or tea in empty stomach before breakfast.
2) Avoid spicy and junk foods.
3) Keep regular diet habits. Avoid skipping your meals.
4) Take your dinner at least 1 hour before going to bed.
5) The best medication to treat your condition is proton pump inhibitors like rabeprazole taken in empty stomach in the early morning. This will effectively treat LPRD.
6) Taking alcohol and smoking will aggravate this condition. If at all you got this habits try your best to limit. If you you don't have these habits ignore this.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I am happy to help you. Wish you a good health.
Regards,
