What Causes Pain And Heaviness In The Head?
Question: Hi,
I am suffering from headache and heaviness in my head which I usually feel during day time or when I wake up in the morning. At times I feel like tiring eyes throughout the day. I consulted the doctor who told me that the reason behind headache is sinus. Let me know if this is the reason behind it. Also advice me what can be done to cure this.

I have read your query and understand your concern.
After reading your clinical history it appears that you are most probably having chronic sinusitis causing headache .
If I were your treating Doctor for this case , I would advice
investigation like CT Scan Nose & sinuses to know extend of diseases .
Till then i would advice ,
Use Steam Inhalation twice daily,
Saline nasal rinse or spray thrice daily like Solspre nasal spray ,
Tab Paracetamol twice daily for headache &
Antihistaminic Tab Claritin (Loratadine 10mg) at night .
You will get relief .
