Brief Answer:
Shouldn't be painful if You touch it.

Detailed Answer:
Good Day and thank you for being with Healthcare Magic!

Depends on how hard you squeeze your testis. Normally the testis should not be swollen, not tender or painful to touch and hold.

If you feel like one of your testicle is more sensitive than the other side, if it feels swollen or enlarged than the other side then you need to see your urologist so he may do a complete physical examination.

Possible diagnosis would be infection (orchitis), hernia, a dilated veins in the testis (varicocoele), fluid in the testis (hydrocoele) and testicular tumor.

When i tap them it is sensitive ! Why ?

Answered by Dr. Manuel C See IV (4 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
You may have infection.

Detailed Answer:
If you tap the testicle and you can feel pal. and tenderness then you may have orchitis or infection of the testis.

I would suggest getting a urinalysis and a scrotal ultrasound. You may need to take an antibiotic to eradicate the infection.

They are not tender its just painful
doctor
Answered by Dr. Manuel C See IV (3 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
pls see detailed answer.

Detailed Answer:
Tenderness is defined as eliciting pain when something is touched which doesn't normally cause pain.

If it is painful then it is sensitive. I would urge you to get a physical examination to be sure that you would get proper treatment.

Are you sexually active? how often did you ejaculate lately ? excessive ejaculation may cause sensitivity and pain in the testis.

No sex but i ejaculate 1 to 2 a day
doctor
Answered by Dr. Manuel C See IV (3 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
2-3 x per week is healthy.

Detailed Answer:
I would recommend to abstain for ejaculation for 3 days and observe if the pain would go away. 2x per day is quite excessive. It will be healthy to keep it down to 2-3 x per week and not 14x per week. This would help your testis replenish the sperm cells and fluid that needs to be replaced after ejaculation.

Drink plenty of fluid, avoid contact sports while you have pain and wear tight fitting underwear. Ascorbic acid or vitamin c would also help with the recovery.
