Brief Answer:
Take OTC antihistamines and pain killers.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to health care magic,

If there is no redness or itching then it could be due to non-infective or may be due to some allergy or excessive eye rubbing.

So,there is no need to take antibiotic eye drops unless redness develops.

Take antihistamines like cetrizine 10 mg twice daily with pain killers like diclofenac or paracetamol which are available over the counter.

Do warm compression over the eye ball which will help to reduce the swelling.

Do not attempt to rub the eye ball or even touch by finger, doing so might induce infection.

Give rest to the eye ball and i expect the swelling or pain would subside within 24 to 48 hours.

Hope this will help you and if you need more clarification then feel free to ask.

Regards,

Dr.Sandip
