The scrotal skin looks normal.
I would advise you the following:
-Urine: Culture and sensitivity sample to be given immediately before antibiotic is started / routine and microscopy.
-Blood CBC, ESR, Blood sugar.
-Urgent Ultrasonography and color doppler examination.
-Consult a General Surgeon or an Urologist only to get a proper diagnosis and not to loose time in proper examination, investigations and treatment.
Please let me know some details:
-Since when have you got this pain ?
-Any urinary complaints ?
-Any pain in the abdomen just by the side of the umbilicus ?
-Is the pain mild or severe ?
- Is this for the first time or is recurrent ?
The pain can be due to Orchitis or torsion . Needs urgent confirmation by color doppler and ultrasonography. Other causes can be epididymitis / Varicocele ans so on.
