What Causes Pain And Swelling On One Side Of The Nose?
sinus congestion
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
It looks like you may have some sinus congestion going on that is causing the swelling and pain.
There are several things that you can do to relieve the symptoms.
The most important is nasal saline spray. Use it 6-8 times a day to flush out allergens and keep the mucous membranes moist.
Add to that an antihistamine that is not sedating like claritin, zyrtec or allegra.
They are all available in generic forms over the counter.
If you do not have heart problems or hypertension you can also use a decongestant.
Drink plenty of water and take Vitamin C 1000mg daily until this resolves.
If it does not resolve in a week or 10 days or if it begins to get more painful, see a doctor.
