What Causes Pain During Urination And Pain In Urethra And Vagina?

Avoid excessive douching.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Feeling pain while passing the urine might be due to more acidic nature of the urine.
To prevent this, have more and more fluids per day.
Avoid acidic fruit juices like lime juice, orange juice, etc.
Plenty of cranberry juice will help in reducing the symptoms.
Examine the external genital area carefully for any injury and rashes.
If the symptoms do not improve you can get an ultrasound scan done to rule out any possibility of renal or ureteric calculus.
Excessive douching can cause an irritation leading to mild bleeding after intercourse. A high vaginal swab culture will help in detecting any vaginal infection.
The pain in the lower abdomen is likely to be related to a urinary cause. You can consult a urologist for a detailed evaluation.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

Can be due to pelvic inflammation.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Pelvic inflammatory disease is more commonly associated with a painful intercourse. It is also one of the probable causes of your pain.

Burning urination is not due to PID.
Detailed Answer:
Painful urination and frequent urination are not due to pelvic inflammation. It can happen that you have a normal urine test with a persistent infection. Urine culture will help in detecting any infections not detected on a routine urine examination. If the culture is negative then an infection is ruled out.
Pelvic inflammation causes a persistent pain in the lower abdomen. It is not associated with a burning micturition.
