What Causes Pain During Urination?

Question: Pain in urine from last 4-5 days.
Went through some checkups sonography and routinw urine tests all are normal.

Last 10-15 days I was on travelling and my hygiene condition was also not good.

From last night sever pain in lower abdomen and bladder and after passing ring feel burning sessions.

Need relief from this.

Consultanted 2 doctors 1 homeopathy and other general physician tool 1 antibiotic as prescribed nitrofurantoin 100mg.

You should write your age.
How long have you had Nitrofuantoin and at what dose isn't clear.

If you've given urine for culture test,kindly send the report,with the scan report.

Age - 39

And nitrofurantoin 100mg
And today I visited another doctor he suggested pyradium 200mg 3 time a day for 5 days.

Current situation
Pain in urine and lower bladder is in pain, skin burning

Reports
1) sonography is normal but I don't have scan copy now so can't attach
2) urine routine is also normal

Please suggest if you cay anything, I am in pain now and need relief asap

UTI or prostatitis is most likely possibility.

Hi XXXXXXX

Assuming your scan report's normal,then the pain should be due to UTI.
UTI is urinary infection. The other possibility is a prostatitis.
This is the reason,why we ask for urine culture test,before starting an antibiotic.
Anyway, now complete the course of Nitrofurantoin100mg, thrice daily for 5 days.

Pyridium will give an orange discoloration to the urine,which goes away on stopping it.
Take it only twice daily after 2 days.

Drink more fluids,if the pain is more severe.

Hi Doctor,
I already stated Nitrofurantoin100mg twice (do I need to continue 3 time?) a day and Pyridium thrice a day as prescribed by doctor here .
Now pain is little improved by 10-15% only not much.
How much time it takes to cure ?

It's good to note that you're improving.
The symptoms will reduce gradually and may take about 2-3 weeks for a cure.
In some cases,it takes over a month.
Without an examination,it's difficult to predict that.

Continue with the same treatment for the time being.
After five days,reduce NFT to twice daily,if you feel better.
Pyridium twice a day,may be enough,if the symptoms have reduced.
Drink at least 12 glasses of fluids daily.

the only problem which I forgot to mentioned, after urine pass, outer sking is burning and that continue for some time if it touches clothes also irritate, I checked there is not rash / skin crack anything or any red spots.

Please suggest any cream I can apply here ?

Your symptoms need an examination of the penis.
This should be done by an Urologist,for expert treatment.

Alternatively,you may send a photo of the skin changes here,for an expert opinion.

Take syrup Citralka twice or thrice daily.

You should continue with good hydration daily.

Now my condition i little improved but not 100% , still some light burning secession.
I stopped all medicines from (antibiotic and Pyridiym) only on CITAL.
I did my Urine test and Culture test on Tuesday today got results.

from today morning I am getting pain and burning sen-session after urine, do I need to go to another test now ? It was ok from last few days and I was on relief.

Probably,you may have a residual, or a recurrent UTI.
To confirm that,you'll need to do the following tests :
1. urine routine and culture.

After that, start taking Ciprofloxacin500mg twice daily,till the report's available.
Repeat the syrup Cital,twice daily.

You should continue with drinking ten to twelve glasses fluids daily.

Attached UC report and I did USG and Xray as per local doctor.
