Dear Ms
From the short history of Continuous pain in Left Hypochondriac region( Part of the abdomen below the breast) associated with back pain following possibility needs to be considered
1. Musculoskeletal Pain: Its very much likely in view of the fact that you have difficulty in getting up, its likely to be due to muscle spasm
2. Gastro-oesophageal reflux: Presence of acid reflux along with associated Gasritis could be causing these symptoms
3. Pancreatitis: Its would also need to be considered and ruled out
4. Fatty hernia of linea alba: As you have recently put on weight, herniation of fat through the layer of abdominal wall could also cause constant pain in the region
I would require additional history for me to guide you further
1. How long/duration has the pain been present
2. Is there fullness in that area?
3. Do you have heartburn?
4. Do you have frequent belching
5. Any Nausea / Vomiting?
6. Any history of Alcohol intake
7. History of Diabetis Mellitus
Kindly revert back to me. Will guide you further.
Take Care
