What Causes Pain In Chest Radiating To Right Side Of Neck?

Question: My husband is having pain across the top of his chest radiating up the right side of his neck. He has been checked at the hospital and observed overnight . He has had an EEG, heart catch carotid artery scan which all has beenfine. He still has the pain he does have a pacemaker and is on many mess. We were wondering if most of his dizziness and being light headed could be more of an overload of medication instead of a more physical problem. No one seems to be able to answer his questions..

Brief Answer:
Cervical spodylosis can be a cause of symptoms
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM and thanks for your query.
I appreciate your concern for your husband.
Since his doctor has excluded a pain from the heart, it is likely to be due to a nerve pinch by a disc prolapse in the cervical spine due to spodylosis.
Has he had an X ray of the cervical spine?
If you would let me know the medicines he is on, I shall opine whether they are the cause of dizziness. Cervical spodylosis is a common cause for dizziness.

Brief Answer:
Can be related to cervical spodylosis
Detailed Answer:
Dizziness may be due to decreased oxygen supply to certain parts of the brain. The vertebral arteries which supply the brain stem and adjacent areas can be involved in cervical spodylosis.
This can be the explanation for your observation that he gets dizzy on standing up which decreases the blood supply to the brain and improves on sitting and inhaling oxygen.
