What Causes Pain In Flank Region Radiating To Groin Area?
Possibility of ureteric colic needs to be considered
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day
Dear Ms
Going by description of your symptoms of pain in flank and radiating downward into groin , one of the possibility that needs to be considered is ureteric colic which usually occurs due to passage of kidney stone through the ureter . Exact diagnosis will however depend on clinical examination and confirmed by Ultrasound scan of abdomen.
I would suggest you to consult your primary care physician for detailed clinical examination. In the meantime I would suggest you the following
1. Ensure good intake of water
2. Antispasmodic like Drotavarine or cyclopam will provide much needed relief.
3. Antacid like Pantoprozole to be added
Do get back to me if you need
any further assistance, will be glad to glad to assist you.
Wishing you and your family a very happy and healthy life
