Your glucose levels are not in proper control
Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend, greetings from HCM. I understand your concern. As I see your symptoms I have to say that it s due to poorly controlled glucose levels . First get your HbA1c, microalbuminuria, serum B12 , folic acid levels. Record the fasting and postprondial sugar levels for a weel with the regular diet. We may have to change the drugs or switch over yo insulin after seeing the reports.
You have to remember that lifestyle management is the key for controlling your sugar levels and also Blood Pressure.
You need to take more of green leafy vegetables, fruits, nuts, fish, oats. You will get good amount of fibers as well as micro nutrients in them. Which can prevent or halt the progression of the nerve weakness which is a complication in uncontrolled diabetic patients.
Also over a time it can affect your kidneys and heart too.
Practice yoga and pranayama which helps you . you need to exercise at least 1 hour a day .
If needed you may have to take B12, folic acid, omega 3 and 6 fatty acids too.
Tablet Gabapentin also helps . meet your physician with all the reports and get the prescription.
Take care and do contact us for more queries. Thank you.
