Brief Answer:
possibilities explained

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Pain in the groin area could be due to musculoSkeletal cause.
Mesh may also cause some amount of discomfort as it is non absorbable in nature.
Another important condition that has to be excluded is Recurrence of hernia.
Please consult your doctor and get examined clinically.
Ultrasound of that area will give clue to the diagnosis.
Hope I answered your query.
If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
