What Causes Pain In Left Arm, Shoulder Blade, Neck, Sweating And Chest Discomfort?
The X ray seems nomral . Do upload the ecg as well
Detailed Answer:
Hello ,
I am Dr. Mody and I would be addressing your concern.
The symptoms of chest pain , breathlessness and suffocation can all occur with GERD .
Considering your age and if you ate otherwise fit , font smoke and are not over weight , your chances of heart as the cause of symptoms are nearly negligible.
The uploaded X ray of cervical spine seems to be nomral .
Do upload the ecg for review.
For relief of symptoms.
Consider taking a PPI, like Sompraz D 40 mg once 15 mins before breakfast for atleast 3 weeks for healing of mucosa of food pipe .
No tea, coffee, chocolates, aerated drinks, soda , alcohol and spicy food for time being .
Strictly no smoking
If overweight consider losing weight by regular exercise and smaller meals instead of 2 large meals .
Let me know if any clarification needed and I would be happy to help.
Regards Dr Priyank Mody, XXXXXXX
Also i would like to add i am bit over weight. I m 5'11 in height and my weight is 78. I am a smoker too.
The ecg is withen normal limits
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
I went through the ECG and it's sinus arrythmia, which is completely nomral and may be because of you were anxious while the ecg was taken and we're breathing heavily .
78 for your height is not that bad which would put you at the risk if heart disease.
I would strongly suggest that you may consider stopping smoking as you are still young and not habituated to it and apart from it being a risk for heart problems , stroke and other issues , it also worsens you GERD.
Hoping I could help resolve your anxiety .
Wishing you good health.

And now today I was having weird symptoms... Slight headache with ache in both arms near elbow. Also had lower pulse of about 55bpm followed by frequent urination. Plz help me... These symptoms are bothering me very much.
Sir waitng to hear from u...
SA in ecg would stand for sinus arrythmia
Detailed Answer:
Hello ,
I went through the prescription.
As I said ECG he has mentioned SA as Sinus arrythmia and not SA block , which is a nomral phenomenon and there is nothing wrong with your heart .
The pulse of 55 is nomral for a person of your age if particularly you are into exercise
Now coming to the prescription.
Myospas is for muscle spasm and it will help in the arm ache which you feel .
Symbal is for depression or many times as anti anxiety, if you are not used to it it may cause the symptoms you describe. I would suggest lighter medication like esitalopram at night , though as a cardiologist I am not the best person to advice you on the same .
I would consider that you get Vitamin D and thyroid profile checked and supplement it if necessary.
Again by being more anxious you are stretching yourself to panic attack .
The limitation of this platform is my inability to examine you ,however the symptoms you are describing doesn't fit into a cardiac condition .
If there is burning sensation in urine , and if you have an recent exposure to someone who is not ur wife , consider a urinarytract infection .
Do send me the chronology of symptoms if possible.
Let me know if any clarification is needed .
Regards Dr Priyank Mody
There is a strange feeling like i m not able to breathe in properly. I feel like i need to take rest.. Over all i feel like i have a week heart. Strange but this is like how i feel my symptoms feel like.
And what is causing me this frequent urination... I have had my echocardiogram done a year ago... That was normal.
Chronology of symptoms:
Left arm ache followed by left hand pain and frequent urination and pain in lower left back on moment pain sometimes radiated to left leg... The other day i felt suffocated, dizzy, arm n leg aches which come n go... All these symptoms persist till now... I get pain in shoulder blades, feel like can't breathe... I was on escotalopram but left it a month or two ago...
Sometimes i feel ache in neck too... Hell lot of symptoms... These make me feel like if they are associated with heart.
The symptoms you describe don't suggest heart as the cause
Detailed Answer:
Hello Aqib,
Before I start I would like to apologise as it's becomes difficult to answer during the day because of my routine work .
Now as I start I would again reassure you that the symptoms you are describing is FOR sure not because of the heart.
As the heart pain never radiates below the umbilicus while you are having pain in the legs as well .
Plus the next step after an ecg is echocardiography, which you have already done and it appears to be nomral.
Now the initial symptoms felling sweaty , headache , bodyache, tiredness , shortness of breath are seen when your thyroid function is high , however points again that is your pulse on lower side and your age and male profile . However it's should be ruled out once . A Simple TSH would be ok .
All the symptoms you describe are to generalised to fit in on system and so any infection , or endocrine abnormality should be ruled out . A good physical examination by a Physician should help making a diagnosis .
Also important to note , anxiety itself can cause all the symptoms you describe .
Importantly if you are taking esitalopram and it was helpful, continuing it for sometime is better . Also suddenly stopping would exaberate all your symptoms and so if you want to stop I would suggest you slowing taper it off .
Lastly would like to ask you if you ever smoke marijuana , as it may also cause the above symptoms .
Do upload all your previous medical reports so I can get are better idea about the same .
If any urgency you may call on 0 0000 through Health care Magic .
