Question: my wife is 43 years old. we have 2 sons 11 and 6.
few days ago she felt pain in her left breast... deep inside not superficial. then she felt the pain is echoing under her arm.
today she got yellow secretions drained off her nipple by squeezing.
could this be a sign of malignancy?
what checks to donand what could be the cause?

Usually malignant tumurs cause blood stained discharge. They are also not associated with Pain. Can she feel some kind of lump under Breast or the Axilla , it will be better to palpate in lying down position. From your given history it doesnot seem to be a malignant lieson. A Mammogram will be helpful initial investigation to rule out cancer. Further you should consult a doctor and get proper examination, as if at all malignat Breast cancer is totally curable .
