Question: Hello,
Ive had some pain on the left side of my throat when I sneeze for the last couple weeks. It also has a weird sensation when that happens. Swallowing doesn't hurt. No redness that I can see in the mouth and tonsils seem fine.
Brief Answer:
It may be due to post nasal drip.

Pain during sneezing may be due to post nasal drip and it is due to allergic rhinitis.Post nasal drip causes referred pain from nose to throat.
You need proper evaluation by ENT specialist. If there is allergic rhinitis then you need treatment and throat pain will resolve after its treatment.
You can take Cyproheptadine for post nasal drip.
Steroid inhaler and antibiotics may be needed depending upon severity.
Other common causes like pharyngitis, dust exposure, common cold etc should also be excluded.
For confirmation, indirect laryngoscopy should be done for proper assessment of larynx.
You should consult ENT specialist.
Get well soon.
