What Causes Pain In Left-sided Abdomen Near The Hip After An Ovarian Cyst?
Question: I have a pain on my left side abdomen, near hip. It started 8 days ago. It got worst until day 5 and then lessened and has never left. On day 7 I started my menstrual cycle. The pain, l expected to stop. It has not. It is a continuous dull ache. On Day 5, it was towards my back and down my leg a bit. Currently, It's a dull ache and shows up more when I move certain directions. The first time my doctor can see me is in one week. Do I need to be checked sooner? I had an ovarian cyst on that side 8 years ago that my doctor expressed during surgery for another issue. I have not ever had this pain before. I am 45.
