What Causes Pain In Legs After Having Painless Pentaxim Injection?

Question: Hi
Yday i gave pentaxim n prevenar 13 to my 6weeks old baby...both injections were painless...bt her leg is paining.....n todau she is very restless....very quiet....dhe is very slleepy bt nt able to sleep quietely....r these symptoms normal aftr dese injections??

I understand your concern.
Relax even in painless injections mild pain is observed in some babies.
I suggest you to give ice fomentation on injection site 2 to 3 times a day.
Give calpol drops as per dosage 15 mg/kg body weight 8hourly.
She will be fine with in 24 hours.

You can wait till tomorrow.
In case she becomes lethargic or there is decreased urine output and there is refusal of feeds then get her examined by pediatrician.

Thnx fo ur reply...i took her to dr today....der she took feeding...n pooped a bit.....bt nw she is taking feed bt only for little tym....fo 5mins only...she cries bfore taking feed.....she is pale....is it cause of immunisation?....n nw water is cuming out of her eyes.....

Post immunisation such behavior is sometimes seen and usually settles in couple of days.

Is it safe to massage on my face wid red wine while breast feeding? Bfore pregnancy i used to massage wid red wine for functions......bt is iit safe nw while breastfeeding....baby s naming ceremony is der so wanted to use red wine for my facial skin.....safe??

Regarding wine facial I am not very clear but absorption from skin in very minimal.
