Brief Answer:
No need to hurry to ER. Simple analgesia and avoid strainous activity

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,

It might be important to know if you did any unusual physical exercise the day before or not. Carrying heavy loads and unusual exercise or activity involving the back and lower limbs could cause such kind of pain.

It is good news the pain sites are reducing. If you are feeling better as time goes on, I do not think you need to rush to the ER room.

Do you have any swelling at the groin area?
Do you have past history of surgery (hernia) around that area?
Is the pain aggravated by pressure or coughing? If none of these, its more reassuring.

I will suggest for the moment simple analgesia like Acetaminophen (instead of Aleve), avoid strenuous exercise and we watch for a couple of days. However, watch out for any joint swelling or intensification of the pain.

I would be more than ready to give a few ideas in case you got any more specific questions.

Kind regards as I wish you the very best of health.
