What Causes Pain In Lower Back When I Bend Over?

Question: I have been having lower back pains every time I walk uphill or bend over for the last month - nerve/muscle pain has been knotted, effect my lower back, thigh and buttock area - sciatic related I think.

Hi

You should be aware of the lumbosacral region in the back. There are interverterbral disc in between the vertebra, that might bulge because of various reasons. When the bulge they can irritate the spinal nerves that are coming out of the corresponding spinal segments. This is more intense when you cough or bend or walking uphill.

If there is bulge in the young age like you then it is mostly managed with bed rest, analgesics and restriction of certain movements later.

I suggest you to see a Neurosurgeon or spine surgeon for appropriate management.
