To provide more detail:
No diabetes
No to smoking. Now 71 and last smoked when 16.
No pedai edema
No skin changes
No illegal drugs
Years with pain - many years, but has gotten to the point where I am not able to get a full nights sleep. I must get up and start doing some project to take my mind off the pain; but this is cutting into a full night of sleep. Then I end up needing to take naps during the day.
I believe this is inherited as my father's brothers also talked about this problem. His 4 brothers lived longer than he did. Father passed at 84 from pheumonia resulting from 20 years of parkinsons; his 4 brothers lived into 90's.
Do you provide a prescription for pentoxifyline, if appropriate? Do I continue with aspirin, Aleve and Celebrex? Do I continue with the one a day fish oil I take?

Brief Answer:
Require investigation
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Reviewing your history, I will advise you to get investigated for
1) Neuropathy: Require nerve conduction study, blood test, testing for myeloma and other relevant investigation.
2) Restless leg syndrome: Pain occurs mostly in calf in night with urge to move legs. Also seen in family members. Require fasting iron profile.
Benefits with dopamine agonist.
I don't think it's vascular.
pentoxifyline does not fit in the scenario and will not be needed for you.
Do I continue with aspirin, Aleve and Celebrex?
Since I do not know the reason for the prescription of these medicines in your case, so I cannot discontinue.
Do I continue with the one a day fish oil I take?
It has some side effects, so I would not suggest these.
I would suggest you to consult a neurologist for proper examination and evaluation.
Do get back to me for further queries.
