What Causes Pain In Lower Part Of Breast After Gall Bladder Removal?

Question: 14 years ago I had my gal blabber removed due to massive gal stones, ever since then I have continue to experience pain in the area between the lower part and middle of my breast. At times I get spasms that I have to take 650g x 2 panadole to relieve the pain. These spasms are becoming more freak went in the last 8 months. I have seen doctor and the response is that it can a nerve being pinched.

Brief Answer: Consideration Detailed Answer: thanks for sending your question, It is certainly possible that this could be a pinched nerve. Other considerations include acid reflux which might be causing irritation of the nerves which affect the esophagus. It might be reasonable for you to try a course of antacid medication such as Prilosec for a few weeks to see if this helps. one additional consideration would be adhesions. These can be formed after surgery and can cause a vague symptoms including pain or discomfort. I would sit down again with your doctor to review these considerations and see what he thinks.
