Question: I believe he gave me some very pertanant information to give my doctors. Now maybe they will send me to a Nuerologist instead of a Pain Specialist.

I very much appreciate your comments and am hopeful that you may be seen by the most appropriate specialist for your problems.

It sounds as if you are having pain in the neck and lower back. It doesn't sound likely that the symptoms of pain would be related to the areas of increased white matter in the brain recognized by the neuroradiologist so my advice is that you clarify with either your doctor or with the radiologist if you can speak with them what if any functional issues the finding of increased white matter islands has to do with your clinical picture.
