What Causes Pain In Penis After Masturbation?

Posted on Wed, 3 Sep 2014
Question: I was masturbating, but when my penis was semi-erect. I felt pain and stopped. I had a little pain on the left side (never when erect) and was masturbating with my left hand. I went to a urology and he check me out (physical exam) and said that I didn't have peyronies and didn't seem to have damaged anything. I noticed that when I am semi-erect now, my penis curves a lot to the right. (I masturbate with my left and its the left side that hurts.). When I am erect, my penis is strait. I don't have a problem getting an erection. I asked the urologist about the curve and he said he didn't know. That maybe my Corpus Cavernosum were different sizes. I couldn't recall at the time whether or not I was always bent on erection, but now that I think about it, I am very confident that I "grew" strait until recently.

So,I'm looking for a second opinion.

A couple of questions:

1. What could this be from? The pain is on the left side, but it bends to the right.
2. Is this something that I need to worry about? Should I be taking anything and how long should I abstain from any type of "activity"?

Thanks!

Hello,

Thank You for consulting HealthcareMagic!

Is this something that I need to worry about? Should I be taking anything and how long should I abstain from any type of "activity"?

Based on the information you have given, I do not think that it is something serious that needs to be worried. Kindly be reassured as there are variety of normal changes that can occur in body (regarding bending).

However, the pain needs to be addressed. Sometimes trauma due to masturbation can also cause this kind of pain. Abstain for few days and will see if there is any improvement.

Thanks! Do you happen to have any ideas why it started to bend? And if it will eventually correct itself? All I could find on the web was info on peyronies disease, which sounds pretty scary.

Brief Answer:
It does not sound like Peyronies for me.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

It does not sound like Peyronies for me.

Bending to one side may be because of the underwear you wear, which is quite common and normal. Physical exam is needed to know whether it is normal or if there is any abnormality.

Thanks!
