What Causes Swelling In The Penis Post Intercourse?
I had sex in the afternoon with one girl and no condom (twice).
I later had sex with another girl with no condom (twice)
between the sessions i did wash my penis.
the next day my penis was swollen up more than it ever has been
just underneath the head. i am circumcised. i think its called the shaft? about half an inch!! its not hurting but on the left side it feels like a vein is coming out... or is it in my head !!
Vigorous and frequent sexual activities can sometimes cause some soreness of the penis.
Very rarely, individuals can have penile fracture characterized by bruising of the penis due to the violation of the tunica albugenea, an inner tissue layer of the penis. This causes significant bruising of the penis and inability to have erection.
If you are able to achieve erection again and has not issues with urination, it does not appear that you will have any long term issues. On another note, for prevention of STD, please do wear condom if you have multiple partners.
Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Young Suk Kwon, Urologist
