Brief Answer:
Renal infection / bladder dysfunction is the cause.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
First and foremost, the problem might be caused by recurrent UTIs.
Recurrent UTIs can lead to a kidney / bladder infection high up.
This might cause the symptoms that you mention.
Again the problem might be a dysfunctional bladder, that is not able to void correctly.
This in turn leads to frequent UTIs.
You need to actually consult a Urologist.
First and foremost , you need to go for a complete urine routine microscopy test and urine culture test to confirm UTI , if one is present right now, and to know what drugs ( antibiotics ) would work against it.
Further, voiding tests ( micturating cystourethrogram ) would show any bladder / kidney dysfunction.
Also, a renal scan would show any kidney infection or involvement.
SO please get this series of tests done.
I am sure there is a chronic renal infection or bladder dysfunction that is causing these symptoms.
Are you diabetic ?
Post menopause, the urethral / bladder tissues get atrophic ( like the vagina ) leading to recurrent infections and damage.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.
