What Causes Pain In Right-sided Abdomen Under The Breast?
Question: I'm having moderate pain on the right side, under breast to waist. Gallbladder already removed. In pictures it looks like it would be the liver?

Read and reviewed your query and feel concerned about your health issues.
I understood your health concerns as follows-
I am really concerned for your health concerns of moderate pain under right breast to waist.
Though more information from your side would be helpful in giving exact reply about the cause of the morning nausea and gas in abdomen over last few years ,besides the gall stones detected on investigations done, My primary Impression on facts of your query is as follows-
Based on the information submitted in your query, you seem to be having post-cholecystectomy syndrome with this pain (Post-chole syndrome from-bile acid induced gastric and intestinal disturbance from Bile reflux /or duodenogastric reflux).
You are already on hyoscyamine for your IBS, which would take care of pains from IBS- which usually occur on left side. Therefore I will keep the possibility of IBS causing right side the least.
However a few undetected causes to be ruled out in your case. Those causes include pancreatico-biliary silent / undetected growths,needs to be ruled out. But for this you would need further Consultation from GI Surgeon/ Endoscopist, who would fix the cause after CT/MRI contrast studies of Pancreatico-Biliary passages/ and organs.
While you prepare for specialist consultation and aforementioned investigations, I will suggest you avoid high fat diet, be on high protein, high carb diet. You can also be started on tab Sequestran/ Cholestyramine by your primary physiican. This drug sequestrates and controls bile reflux by binding the bile acids and excreting down in the stools, this thus prevents the bad effects of the excessive bile acid being refluxed in to stomach or down in the intestines, causing either gastritis / or diarrhea, gases, bloating -causing IBS like complaints.
Do discuss and confirm with your doctors on these lines.

First, I'll just say: Gas was passed and most pain went with it overnight! Only a small amount of residual pain this morning---which is telling me you are "spot-on" about being post-Chloe syndrome...rethinking, I definitely had eaten too much fatty foods over the weekend which is not my usual. Thank you also for the suggestion of the Sequestran/Cholestyramine about which I will ask my PC this week.
