Thanks for your query

I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. You are most likely to be having osteoarthritis of great toe joint as it is common in your age. It can be confirmed by x ray of great toe. Its treatment is analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief, Diacerine , hot fomentation and glucosamine.
Another possibility is gouty arthritis as it is most common at this joint. You can get uric acid level to confirm it. Treatment is analgesic such as ibuprofen and uric acid lowering drug such as fabuxostat.

You can discuss with your doctor about it.

Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then I will be happy to help you.

Wishing you a good health.
Take care.
