Question: My husband had a nerve conductivity and EMG test this morning and it seems from what i am readinng that they are finding nothing wrong. He is having pain in his feet, groin and lower back. Spinal stenosis has been ruled out by an orthopedic surgeon. I am making an appt with his PCP shortly but winder if ypu could interpret this for me.
Brief Answer:
Can be nerve irritation.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
if nerve conductivity is normal then there can be a mild nerve root irritation only causing the pain. A disc bulge can be ruled out only after an MRi scan. This can be due to low levels of vitamin B12 also. Taking proper supplements and medicines like pregabalin can help.
I hope this answers your query.
