since early twenties once or twice a year have been treated for prostatitis
XXXXXXX 2016 headlines of prostatitis PSA levels moderately High pain in the groin area trouble urinating
I have been on Bactrim three rounds then Cipro 3 rounds and then two more rounds of Bactrim and that brings you you up to date today I've also had a rectal ultrasound showing nothing x-ray of prostatitis they say shows nothing the pain is now becoming extreme on occasion symptom continuous my doctor says he can't find what's wrong and he doesn't know what to do please advise
May be Chronic Pelvic Pain syndrome/Chronic Non inflammatory prostatitis

I understand your concern and sorry to hear about your problem
Your symptoms could be due to Chronic Pelvic Pain syndrome/Chronic Non inflammatory prostatitis.
It is very complex disease and difficult to treat.
No definitive test help to diagnose the problem.
Following advises for next 4-5 months will help:
Tablet ibuprofen two times a day for 14 days
Alfa blocker in low dose also help in some case
Daily prostate massage by medical personnel. It will help in relieve the pain.
Do sex/masturbation regularly (3-4 times/week)
Avoid spicy foods, excessive caffeine and alcohol, stress.
Do pelvic floor exercise and yoga dialy
Warm bath, drink plenty of fluids, cranberry juice.
