Brief Answer:
Stop ibuprofen and homeopathic treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i can understand your concern.

Kindly stop ibuprofen and the homeopathic treatment.
Coconut oil isn't the treatment for varicocele.
Continue with scrotal support, but never massage the area over varicocele.
Your skin changes could be due to an allergic reaction or an infection.

After examination by an Urologist,it's best to do the following tests :
1. urine routine and culture.
2. blood routine,RBS,creatinine,LFT,platelets and AEC.
3. scrotal doppler ultrasound.

According to the reports,an expert opinion can be given.
You're welcome to send the reports here, for an expert opinion.
Till the reports are available, you may start an anti-inflammatory tablet, like
chymo-tripsin and maintain good penile hygiene.
Avoid moisture over the genitalia.
Wish you well.

Sir,
The Urologist was on leave and the surgeon just did a examination for hernia and said I don't have it.
I got the tests done after on my own, the urine culture report is still awaited as the lab was understaffed as well.
But ultrasound abdomen and doppler did take place, the doppler report is a bit hard to understand so please let me know the next steps.

My left testicle has retracted since the surgery and is somewhere next to the surgery scar and a bit hard to feel, I do have a burning pain and occasional discomfort around its present location and in my right testicle as well.

I am not able to understand the pain and it is causing me significant discomfort in daily life as well, warm water baths do seem to help but not by much.

Currently not taking any painkillers either just supporters and hot water baths.
I look forward to your recommendations.

Warm Regards
XXXX

Brief Answer:
Left testis is shrunken or atrophied.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Have gone through all reports.
Your blood reports are grossly normal, except increase in liver enzyme SGPT, which is seen in alcoholics.
Your scan shows, enlarged size of liver. This also is seen in alcoholics. It's also seen in people taking fatty foods. So avoid fatty foods and exercise regularly.
The Doppler scan shows, left side varicocele, with shrunken testis. That's why you're not able to feel the left testis. I can't comment if this has occurred after surgery, as I don't have the pre-operative scan.
The groin pain is likely due to this.
It's best to get it examined by an urologist.
Wish you well.
