What Causes Pain In The Lower Back And Shoulder While On Omeprazole?

Question: I am 68. I've been very lucky because I have few aches and pains. I've been taking omeprazole for a little over a month. My hips, lower back and one shoulder hurts. I have joint pain even in one toe. Can it be related. I've always been so free of such pains to have it come in so many places. Could it be a side effect.

Omeprazole is not causing you pains.

Pains may occur due to derranged uric acid level, so get your serum uric acid level, ESR, CRP levels checked and send me the report.
