What Causes Pain In The Penis Post Horse Riding?

default
Posted on Mon, 3 Oct 2016
Question: I rode a horse two days ago, trotting for at least half an hour in a saddle with a prominent pommel. That night, I felt like a had a UTI. It still hurts and I've been taking Advil for the pain. There are some spots of medium colored blood upon wiping sometimes.

Brief Answer:
How often do you urinate in the past days? Much volumes or small volumes?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this feeling and all the inconveniences this must have caused you. This sounds like you got the urethra traumatized and not an infection. This might explain why there is blood in the urine. The responses to the following questions would help me with this.

1. Is the frequency often than usual?
2. Is the volume of urine less that usual?

Keep me posted and I will return to you with a definite response promptly as i hear from you.
