What Causes Pain In The Right Testicle?

Question: Hi doctor,
I am male aged 23. I have this problem of pain in my right testicle. I am having this problem from long back but earlier it used to be there for 4-5 hours which i ignored. But this time it is persistent and i m still having the pain from the last two days. It is so sensitive that its catching pain even if a cloth touches that area. Its not even letting me sleep some times in up side down position. What does this imply.? Also Please suggest me what is that i need to do and which specialist i need to visit. And before i visit doctor could you please prescribe some medicine to control pain.

Brief Answer:
testicular pain can have lot of causes
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
testicular pain can be due to
- local injury
- varicoceal ( dilated blood supply )
- epididmytis or orchitis.
to find the exact cause you have to meet a UROLOGIST. He will do a local examination. He may also need to get an ultrasound of the scrotum and urine routine test.
meanwhile for pain you can take- Paracetamol tablets which are easily available over the counter and do not have any side-effects
Best wishes to you
