What Causes Pain In The Right Upper Quadrant Along With Vomiting?

Answer given below
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
Pain in the right upper quadrant along with vomiting can occur due to many different reasons. It is the place where the distal part of the stomach, liver, gallbladder and part of the pancreas are located.
Gallbladder has been removed in your case and pancreas has been found to be normal.
What you are having post cholecystectomy syndrome.
Though the left over stones have been removed by ERCP, make sure with an ultrasound or MRCP that all stones have been removed as stones could still be left over and this is one common cause of pain.
Get an upper GI endoscopy to rule out peptic ulcer disease. Gastroesophagheal reflux disease is another common cause of the symptoms you have mentioned. A course of prilosec would be helpful. Also get your liver function test done.
I hope that answers your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr.R.K
