What Causes Pain In The Scaphoid Bone?
Question: Hi, i broke my scaphoid about 8 yrs ago, it healed and i had no further problems. Over last week it has become so painful to the point i cant move my thumb

Such inflammation usually subsides with rest, mild pain killers and a hot compress in the area. Do keep the hand in neutral position and avoid holding anything. Thankyou for tour reply, only problem is i am on crutches due toba perminant disibility so i have to use this hand, any other advice?
