I read that if there is still a burning sensation in the throat then there might be an ulcer, is that something i should worry about?
Brief Answer:
please don't worry , it will dissolve
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Please don't worry. Vitamin c is a very safe drug and is water soluble, so it is not likely to cause either an ulcer or get stuck in your throat.
The burning sensation may be due to acid reflux and is likely to come down in few hours.
I would like you to avoid hot and spicy food , tea or coffee for few days and drink lots of water , it will help soothe your throat.
If you still have the sensation even after 8-9 hours, then i would like you to meet your ENT doctor , who will look in your throat and tell you what might have happened.
Please don't worry , you will be fine
Take care!
