Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and related history.
May I please know a few details before I can answer your question more appropriately.
-Where was the Tb- lungs or some other organ / area ?
-How do you know that TB infection is becoming negative- please tell the improvements you have noted after the anti-TB treatment was started.
-Is there any nausea, vomiting or any other problem like jaundice?
Since you have got pain in the upper abdomen, and a feeling of something biting in the right side of the upper abdomen, I would think of the following reasons:
Gall bladder stones and inflammation.
Hepatitis, related to inflammation of the liver.
Ulcer or inflammation of the stomach and / or duodenum.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
-Ultrasonography of the abdomen.
-Tests of blood: CBC, ESR, sugar, Liver function tests, kidney function tests.
-Upper GI Endoscopy to see if there is an ulcer or so.
-Continue with your treatment with R-Cinex once a day for at least for 1 more month if the TB was in the lungs and up to 4 more months if the TB was in any other area than the lungs (called as extra-pulmonary TB).
-Further test of CT scan of the abdomen and or/ Enteroclysis (Barium studies) if there is any need.
-Consult a Gastroenterologist for clinical evaluation and treatment.
I hope this answer helps you to get started for a proper diagnosis and plan for the treatment. Please feel free to give feed-back, ask for further relevant questions or if you feel that there is a gap-of-communication.
