What Causes Pain In Upper Right Of Back Area?

Question: Hi my name is XXXXXXX I have a history of hep c from patient expos. in 1986. Have seen a gastro Dr. 10 yrs ago received treatment called peagus. I am having pain in my upper rt. back area in a very specific area and is sore to the touch. Have concerns and thank you so much for your help in advance.

Suggest get Ultrasound and HCV RNA done

Hi,

If you have pain then I would suggest you see the Gastroenterologist again and get an Ultrasound of Abdomen and Pelvis done and also get your HCV RNA done. That is a blood test. It would be better to know what is happening and with the reports we can decide what to do if anything at all.

Do not worry. It should not be anything sinister. But I insist you see the doctor and get the investigations done to be sure.
