What Causes Pain On Finger Tip After A Prick?

Can be due to sharp and fine object.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
I have read your history posted here and could see your queries and answers given by out experts.
If the object piercing your finger is very sharp and fine, the entry would not be seen.
Since you are working in a mail-room it is possible that a stapler pin or some sharp object might have pricked your finger.
This may bleed on pressure in if pressed immediately after the puncture or may not bleed at all. '
Pain may persist for a few minutes and go away or can last a bit longer if the prick has caused injury to the nerve fibers.
Redness may or may not appear.
I hope you have already been immunized against tetanus.
Please do not worry if this just a small puncture of very sharp object and if you are immunized against tetanus.
Observe, if no problem, you can just forget it. IF redness, swelling or so you can take an anti-inflammatory medicines like Ibuprofen ( if this suits you).
I hope this answer helps you and please feel free to ask for more if you need to.

Treatment remains same irrespective of cause
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback.
It does not matter much What pricked. Better to take treatment as outlined above.
I would advise you the first aid in such a case where you are not sure what has pricked you.
Clean the hands with soap and water.
Apply spirit or liquid povidone iodine if you have.
Watch for any bleeding, pain, swelling, delayed pain.
Take medicines only if required.
Body takes care of small wounds.
So do not worry at the moment.
Just relax.
Take Injection tetanus toxoid as a booster.
It looks you are really worried about something if I refer to other queries posted by you.
Too much worry without a valid reason causes more stress and anxiety.
I Hope this answer helps you .
Thanks for reading patiently.

Surely not, would not wear the band, Are bugs present in the condo?
Detailed Answer:
HI.
Thanks for your feedback and more clarifications you asked for.
You are very true and correct. Some picks are not noticed immediately, some are difficult to bear the pain from.
Bite from a bug is a remote possibility in a mail-room in condominium. You hardly get any in such places.
No, I would not like to wear the wristband of someone else, whether dirty or not; whether autographed or not; whether it bugs you or not.
Just out of the curiosity- Are there any particular botheration you have?
I hope this satisfies your query.
Please feel free to discuss further if you need to.
You may please rate this answer if you liked it.

What is the problem at the moment ?
Detailed Answer:
HI.
So nice of you for the discussion.
It may not be a bug. Does the mail-room have bugs ?
This may be anything from a stapler pin or so. Where from the needles be available in the mail-room?
For how long have you got the finger pains? Was there any bleeding, you say you could not see the entry wound. I'm not sure about the issue with the screwdriver, how does that fit into this? Could you clarify?
Have you got a swelling, redness or severe pain like a throbbing sensation?

Please post a clear picture of the affected and normal finger to compare
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Please post a clear picture of all the fingers together for me to compare the one with a supposedly pricked with the normal ones.

You can wear it .
Detailed Answer:
Good that there is no infection.
You can certainly wear the autographed wristband, if your skin is intact nothing bad will happen.
Why to worry about other people , whether they will wear or not.
If the skin is intact, there is no actual breach, you will not get anything from just wearing it.
Please do not worry.
