I have gone through your query carefully and understand your concern. These symptoms are suggestive of neuropathy that is disease of nerve. The common causes are Diabetes, Thyroid disease, alcohol and chronic smoking.
To help you better please tell me-
1.Do you have chronic disease like thyroid or diabetes? any medication?
2.Do you smoke/take alcohol?
3.Is there any pain going from buttock to back of thigh and leg associated with numbness and tingling sensation in foot?
Looking forward to your reply.

I do not have diabetes or thyroid disease.
I do not drink any alcohol at all. I do not now, nor have I ever smoked.
There is no pain going from buttock to back of thigh and leg assassinated with this pain in the tips of my toes. (Not foot pain - just the tips of my toes.)
I am on 90 mg of cymbalta per day for menopausal symptoms. I cannot take any hormone treatment because of a blood-clotting problem caused by anti-philospho lipid antibibodes (APS Syndrome) that caused me to have high blood pressure during pregnancy and premature births. (last baby was born 10 1/2 years ago at 35 weeks and 4 pounds.)
I also am taking loratidine 2 X per day for allergies.

Hello
It’s good to see you and I am happy that you do not have any chronic disease. Based on your reply I would recommend following blood test –Vitamin B12, Vitamin D and uric acid.
Since you have mentioned about APS syndrome it may be vasculitis that is inflammation of blood vessel supplying blood to toes/foot.
My suggestion would be to take aspirin, it may help. Antiphospholipid syndrome often requires treatment with anticoagulant medication such as heparin to reduce the risk of thrombosis.
To sum up you may start aspirin along with blood test as mentioned above. You may share the blood report when they are ready.
Hope this suffices.
