What Causes Pain Under Left Arm And Around Left Breast Along With Blisters?
Question: Hi i was bitten by I'm thinking a spider 8 days ago, the first 3 days I just had a fair bit of pain under my left arm & across the top of my left breast, by day 4 that area has blistered a spreading (with the are of my arm pit & breast) it's also quite painful , feels like sharp knives slicing my skin. What do u recommend? Cheers;)

I have read your query and understand your concern.
The way you are describing your symptoms and the way they are behaving after more than a week , suggests that you have developed severe local infection.
This would require a course of antibiotic and anti inflammatory drug like ibuprofen.
Since antibiotics are a prescription drug,you must consult your doctor as early as possible.
In the mean time start ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day.
I generally give a broad spectrum antibiotic like AUGMENTIN 625 mg three times a day in such a situation,however your doctor would be in a better position to look at the wound and prescribe the appropriate antibiotic and do the necessary dressing.
